Who is right, Mervyn King or Gordon Brown?

Basic economics really - you spend too much, pot is drained, nothing left for the lean and mean times. How many times has Labour done this before - nearly bankrupt the country - nearly every time they have got in power. Brown the Clown is either clueless or a good liar - just look at the way the economy has plunged in only a matter of weeks and he thinks we are well placed to withstand a global recession/depression. The bit that really makes me mad is that he thinks we (the people) do not see through his lies and deception. Roll on the General Election because a stuffed teddy bear with a band of pixies could do better than this current lot!!
