My apartment suddenly REEKS of cat pee. We do not have a cat. Whats going on???

I just don't get it, it seems particularly strong in the bedroom and bathroom. We've lived here for four months and it just started when the weather got nicer and we shut the heat off. Sometimes its worse than others. Its so gross!!
