yes i think he likes you. i ve been thru this same situation(but different environment lol) wit the guy doing THAT nod, flirting with you, looking at you, and just wanting to hangout with you is a positive hint. i would not be surprised if he tried to get his number. And if or when he does get it dont go text crazy with him(been down that road girl) if you want him to keep texteing and talking to you dont go text crazy. but other than that i think he likes you. so good luck!!!
