Is the location of Rue de Vaugirard just nice?

Novotel Vaugirard is fine. My company puts out-of-town colleagues there all the time with no complaints. The neighborhood is safer than Les Halles, but somewhat boring and less centrally located. The Metro is fast and efficient, though, so you won't lose too much time.
