I would really like to try out for my high schools cross countrys team for 2011 season. I will be a sopre next year when i try out. I have never ran cross country before but i have play soccer since i was 4 and have done many ether sports so i am athletlic. This year i am planning to train but i am not shore what to do for training and how much i should run a day. I am also wondering is cross country easier for a certain body type and is there a certain wait that i should be if i am 5'2". how fast of a mile and 5k should i be running too? please give me your opinion
